The War Over You [Identity]

There are battles we fight in silence.
Wars waged deep within our souls—often before we even understand who we are.

This poem is more than a creative piece—it’s my story. My testimony.
A glimpse into the unseen war for identity, purpose, and destiny that many of us have unknowingly endured since childhood.
But in that war, God did not remain silent.

Through pain, betrayal, and spiritual confusion, I discovered a truth far greater than the lies spoken over me:
That I am known, loved, called, and marked by God.

If you’ve ever wondered who you truly are, or why your soul feels like it’s under siege,
this is for you.
Let the words wash over you. Let the Spirit speak to you.
And may the veil be torn from your eyes as you remember who you were always meant to be.

The War Over You [Identity]

There are spiritual forces in our lives that we simply cannot understand.
The roles they play are exceedingly painful and place a high demand.
They are like the sharpest spears that pierce into the very depths of our souls.
The impact they leave at an early age is forever burned into and etched on our scrolls.

They wreak havoc, damage, and bruise—violating our boundaries, making us spiritually bleed.
They unknowingly are planting precious, valuable seeds that God will one day heal and grow as we pray and plead.
They test our strength, willpower, and try to break our faith, hope, and resolve.
They are like inundating hurricanes or high-speed tornadoes; in constant chaos, they revolve.

Darkness and negativity are their favored breeding ground; they bask and wallow in hatred and disgrace.
They seek to rob us of our birthright—to receive Jesus’ love and sacred eternal grace.
In skillful trickery and darkness they hide, beckoning in deception toward the ignorant and lost.
Stealthily, they lure people away from contemplating the truth about the cross.

They are constantly lurking, noting, and watching our every move.
They use our weaknesses against us, to paralyze us, so that we do not spiritually improve.
They whisper prideful sweet words—or condemning lies—in our thoughts and ears,
All so we come into agreement with them, forfeiting our birthright, giving in to fears.

In the grand scheme of things, they are truly powerless, yet they boast of having total control.
They are gleefully satisfied with the wasted years, months, days, hours, and minutes they have stolen from our soul.
They seek to steal, kill, and destroy God’s unique and divine plan over our life.
Their goal is to keep us divided, busy, distracted with pleasures, in condemnation, and never-ending strife.

Blind eyes—see. Deaf ears—hear! Break free! Renew your minds so you can see clear!

The robber of your divine destiny has deceitfully tricked you, so that to your Maker you won’t adhere!
The One who knit you in your mother’s womb—the One who lovingly sent you here.

Blind eyes—see. Deaf ears—hear! Break free! Renew your minds so you can see clear!

The robber of your divine destiny has deceitfully tricked you, so that to your Maker you won’t adhere!
Listen carefully to what I am about to say—the truth has been hidden from you, my dear!

AWAKEN! Hear the sound of the Shofar! He who sits between the cherubim calls out for you!
Child of the Most High God! The veil is now being removed from your eyes so you can see what is true.

You have forgotten who you are—you are a prince/princess of a Kingdom you know not of.
You have been sent here on a unique heavenly mission from your Father above.

On your journey, you have been misled, forced to wander bitterly—blind, lost, and afraid.
“Come out from among them and be separate,” says the Lord. You’ve been lied to and betrayed!
He who sits between the cherubim calls out for you! He says,
“You are Mine—the price for which I paid! I am your Deliverer; do not be dismayed.”

Jesus, the Beloved—the Lion of Judah, the Firstborn of our Heavenly Father—paved the way!
He died for us though we were yet sinners; He bore our sins and took our place.
He reconciled us with our Heavenly Father so we could go boldly before His throne.
We are children of the Most High God—through Jesus, we have been atoned!

Listen and believe!

The robber of your divine destiny has deceitfully tricked you, so that to your Maker you won’t adhere!
The Holy One of Israel—Yeshua, our Messiah, the King of all Kings—calls you now.
Come quickly… Do not fear.

Don’t let the Darkness Tread on You!

Prayer of Awakening and Identity

Heavenly Father,
I lift up the one reading this now—the one You have never taken Your eyes off of.

You know every wound they’ve carried,
Every lie they’ve believed,
Every moment they’ve forgotten who they are.

But today, by the power of Your Spirit,
I ask You to tear the veil from their eyes.
Let truth break through like lightning in the night.
Let the chains fall. Let the confusion lift.
Let Your voice drown out the whispers of the enemy.

Remind them of who they truly are—
A child of the Most High God.
Chosen. Beloved. Set apart.
Not forsaken. Not forgotten. Not too far gone.

Jesus, awaken their heart with the sound of Your voice.
Call them by name, just as You did with Lazarus—
And let them rise from every grave of shame and false identity.

Restore to them the vision You placed in their soul before time began.
Give them boldness to walk in their calling,
And humility to cling to Your presence all their days.

Let this be the day their war ends—
And their identity begins.

In the mighty, matchless name of Yeshua,
Amen.

Angelica (Soliana), Daughter of The King. Lionborne Forever.

Jesus has handed us the keys.
He has given us authority in His name.
**Now rise—**and take back everything the enemy has stolen!

Personal Declaration: “I Remember Who I Am”

I declare today: I am not who the enemy says I am.
I am who God says I am.

I am not forgotten. I am not forsaken. I am not a mistake.
I am a child of the Most High God—chosen, loved, and sealed with purpose.

I renounce every lie that has tried to define me—
Every voice that said I wasn’t enough,
Every wound that tried to shape my worth,
Every chain that tried to hold me down.

I was made in the image of my Father.
I was born with divine purpose written in my bones.
He knit me together with intention.
He sent me here on assignment.

I choose truth over deception.
I choose freedom over fear.
I choose Jesus—Yeshua—my Messiah, my Deliverer, my King.

I take back my name.
I take back my voice.
I take back my identity.

Today, I stand in the light of who I am:
A royal son / daughter of Heaven.
An heir of eternal life.
Lionborne, through the blood of the Lamb.

I remember who I am.
And I will never forget again.

In Jesus’ name, Amen.

You are no longer a slave to fear… You are a child of God. Walk in your true name.

Scriptures for Reflection & Identity:

[The Armor of God]

Finally, be strong in the Lord and in his mighty power. Put on the full armor of God, so that you can take your stand against the devil’s schemes. For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms. Therefore put on the full armor of God, so that when the day of evil comes, you may be able to stand your ground, and after you have done everything, to stand. Stand firm then, with the belt of truth buckled around your waist, with the breastplate of righteousness in place, and with your feet fitted with the readiness that comes from the gospel of peace. In addition to all this, take up the shield of faith, with which you can extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one. Take the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God. And pray in the Spirit on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests. With this in mind, be alert and always keep on praying for all the Lord’s people. –

Ephesians 6:10-18

[The Suffering and Glory of the Servant]

Yet it was the Lord’s will to crush him and cause him to suffer, and though the Lord makes his life an offering for sin, he will see his offspring and prolong his days, and the will of the Lord will prosper in his hand. After he has suffered, he will see the light of life and be satisfied; by his knowledge my righteous servant will justify many, and he will bear their iniquities. Therefore I will give him a portion among the great, and he will divide the spoils with the strong, because he poured out his life unto death, and was numbered with the transgressors. For he bore the sin of many, and made intercession for the transgressors.

Isaiah 53:10-12

Depart, depart, go out from there! Touch no unclean thing! Come out from it and be pure, you who carry the articles of the Lord’s house. But you will not leave in haste or go in flight; for the Lord will go before you, the God of Israel will be your rear guard.

Isaiah 52:11-12

And if you are Christ’s, then you are Abraham’s seed, and heirs according to the promise.

Galatians 3:29

What I am saying is that as long as an heir is underage, he is no different from a slave, although he owns the whole estate. The heir is subject to guardians and trustees until the time set by his father. So also, when we were underage, we were in slavery under the elemental spiritual forces of the world. But when the set time had fully come, God sent his Son, born of a woman, born under the law, to redeem those under the law, that we might receive adoption to sonship. Because you are his sons, God sent the Spirit of his Son into our hearts, the Spirit who calls out, “Abba, Father.” So you are no longer a slave, but God’s child; and since you are his child, God has made you also an heir. –

Galatians 4:1-7

“The Spirit you received does not make you slaves, so that you live in fear again; rather, the Spirit you received brought about your adoption to sonship. And by him we cry, ‘Abba, Father.’ The Spirit himself testifies with our spirit that we are God’s children. Now if we are children, then we are heirs—heirs of God and co-heirs with Christ…”

Romans 8:15–17

Arise, shine, for your light has come, and the glory of the Lord rises upon you.

Isaiah 60:1–2

And one of the elders said to me, “Weep no more; behold, the Lion of the tribe of Judah, the Root of David, has conquered, so that he can open the scroll and its seven seals.”

Revelation 5:5

But to all who did receive him, who believed in his name, he gave the right to become children of God,  who were born, not of blood nor of the will of the flesh nor of the will of man, but of God.

John 1:12–13

For the weapons of our warfare are not of the flesh but have divine power to destroy strongholds. We destroy arguments and every lofty opinion raised against the knowledge of God, and take every thought captive to obey Christ,

2 Corinthians 10:4–5

For you created my inmost being; you knit me together in my mother’s womb. I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; your works are wonderful, I know that full well.

Psalm 139:13-14

But you are a chosen people, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, God’s special possession, that you may declare the praises of him who called you out of darkness into his wonderful light.

1 Peter 2:9

For we are God’s handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do.

Ephesians 2:10

“The Father is calling His wayward children back home… Come, and be restored.”

Jesus—Yeshua—The Messiah is coming soon… The King is returning to Zion. Are you ready?

Now let the Lion of Judah roar—over you, over the nations, over Zion.

Be Encouraged

You were never forgotten.
Your story is not over.
The One who calls you by name is still writing beauty from the ashes.
Walk boldly, beloved—
You are seen.
You are loved.
And you were born to roar.
